This a standardised national police application form which asks you to provide personal details about yourself and your immediate family, employment history, your qualifications and skills. 50% of applicants fail at this stage of the selection process meaning a 6 month wait before they can re-apply.
The Day 1 Assessment Centre is the next big hurdle where only 1 in 7 progress. It consists of Maths and English tests, two Written Reports, four Interactive Role-Play Scenarios and a Structured Interview. We cover this in more detail elsewhere on this site and you can discover how we can help you.
The Day 2 consists of the Job Related Fitness Test (JRFT) and a full medical. You can now purchase a training schedule and bleep test CD from the website. Just click on the Job Related Fitness Test link on the left.
Finally you will receive a starting date at your respective training establishment.
